A Gang Story
After growing up in a poor gypsy camp, Edmond Vidal has kept a sense of family, unfailing loyalty and pride within his or her origins. Most of all, he's remained friends with Serge Suttel, with whom he discovered prison life - for stealing cherries. The two of these inevitably got involved in organized crime. The Ganf Des Lyonnais, the team they formed, made them the 1970s' very armed robbers. Their rise ended with a arrest in 1974. As he nears 60, Momon might love to forget part of his life today. He has found peace by benefitting from the"business". He proceeds to his wife Janou, who suffered so in earlier times and to his children and grandchildren, most of whom have great respect for this man of values that are universal and simple and packed with kindness. But Serge Suttel, who has nothing of his ago, comes back into the film.
