Shadow Game
Shadow Game is an experimental film depicting the far-reaching effects of European asylum policy. As a result of the erection of fences around Europe, it has become nearly impossible to seek asylum. The kids traverse cold regions and encounter hostile border patrol agents along the way. It has gotten increasingly difficult for them to reach their final objective. Their journey traverses the entirety of Europe, from Greece to North Macedonia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to Italy, France, and the Netherlands. The film was shot over the course of three years, in part by the protagonists using their own mobile devices.
