800 Bullets
In Almeria, Spain, Julián Torralba worked as a movie stuntman. He and several of his colleagues, who used to make a living doing stunt shows for minuscule audiences on the rotting set created for those old Westerns, are now reduced to doing stunt shows for minuscule audiences on the decaying set designed for those old Westerns. Julián is torn between gloomy memories of his son's death as a stuntman and separation from his daughter-in-law Laura and her son Carlos. Carlos, a young lad, becomes fascinated by his late father's life and flees to join Julián and his ragtag group of misfits. Carlos is immersed into the raucous lifestyle of these hard-drinking pseudo cowboys while he is there. However, when Laura, a prominent executive looking for a new location for a tourist resort, hears that Carlos has joined Julián, she sets out to destroy even this last vestige of Julián's once-proud profession. Julián and the cowboys resolve to defend themselves in the only way they know how.
