Mourning the passing of her mother a couple of decades back, ALICE McKINLEY finds her life disrupted when her dad BEN buys a shop and moves her along with her older brother LESTER into a town. From the painful throes of adolescence, Alice includes difficulty adjusting to her new faculty, especially if she gets the stern MRS. PLOTKIN because her heart teacher.
