Colewell
As the occasions pass quiet and tranquil in Colewell the residents gather at the postoffice for mail and gossip. That is until news comes that work is to close, and dear clerk Nora (a fabulous Karen Allen) has been made to fight for her job and reflect on the options she's made that kept her in Colewell for many decades. Touching, with a hint of depression, Tom Quinn film is an ode to small-town lifestyle and the feelings which include memories and nostalgia of the past. As anxieties look throughout her future and her past becomes more present, Nora says,"I actually don't want to be lonely," but what that means is evasive. While giving distance to the best thing about time passing and reflecting about which determines a life lived colewell gorgeously catches America.
