First Kid
According to some, being a country's leader is one of the most lonely positions on the planet. Being the child of a world leader, on the other hand, can be twice as difficult. Constantly surrounded by security officials, restricted in movement, and monitored virtually every waking moment makes normalcy impossible. Nobody understands this better than young Luke Davenport, the son of former President Davenport of the United States. He expresses his loneliness, irritation, and feelings of isolation from family and friends by becoming childish toward his private Secret Service agent. When the agent snaps in front of the First Lady, Luke is assigned a new agent. He is revealed to be the colossal Sam Simms, a bit of a rogue who rose through the ranks via sheer willpower rather than strict devotion to Secret-Service protocol. At first, Luke employs all of his usual ruses against Sam. However, rather than becoming enraged, Sam seemed to comprehend.
