License to Kill
A bereaved family whose daughter was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver is enraged and disappointed by the inevitable bureaucratic delays involved in getting the matter to trial. Once in the courtroom, they are horrified to witness how the young, understaffed district attorney appears incapable of overcoming the technicalities and maneuvers used by the driver's attorney to keep his client out of jail and on the streets as a legal driver. When the judge is repeatedly obliged to find in favor of the defense, it appears as though the driver will avoid punishment entirely.
