Pim resides in a run-down house at a dead-end street somewhere. Life here smells of cheap cigarettes, French fries, vermouth and beer. Mother Yvette uses her friend Etienne, along with his lousy gray Fiat, being a driver for the nights that she has to"perform". Of a better life Pim dreams as a youngster, imagining princesses and beauty queens. However, if 16 turns he dreams of Gino, the handsome boy next door. There was this tension between them ever since they were kids. Now Gino is the motorcycling hero of Pim. Little bits of expect , little humiliations and cold mockery earn Pim's own life up. Of course he flees to his dream world.
