Resting Place
A television movie set in the Georgia town of Rockville in 1972. When Major Kendall Laird, a Survival Assistance Officer, comes in this small little hamlet with the body of Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson, a Vietnam war hero, the locals are shocked and confused. It is Laird's responsibility to assist Johnson's parents in burying their son. However, because the deceased hero was a black man, his parents are refused entry into the town's "all-white" cemetery by white supremacists who run the establishment.
