In the absence of his parents, Tommy is forced to live with his uncle Dominic and cousin Marie while he struggles to overcome the memories of why he originally left town. This is a bittersweet reunion for him and Angela, his closest friend and the only person who has seen and heard the truth about his history. After spending the previous two years in New York City, Tommy has decided to return to his hometown of North Branford, Connecticut. Uncle and cousins are living with him while his father marries again, just two years after the loss of their mother.
