The Bad Kids

But on a remote patch of this Mojave Desert, amidst dusty tumbleweeds along with rangy Joshua Trees, stays an embryo: a senior high school where teachers believe empathy, life skills, and also the constancy of a caring adult are the differences that will give at-risk students control of these fates. On any given day, if they'll allow it into 24, principal Vonda Viland calls kids at the crack of dawn to find out. Of course, when they need a ride? Well, she will pick them up. Vonda coaches them never fostering false expects and knows the challenges of each student. Her philosophy unites adoring compassion and awarded her school's rising graduation rate, it is apparently working.
