The Ciambra
PIO AMATE, a 14-year-old member of a small Romani community in the southern Italian town of Gioia Tauro in Calabria, is eager to get out of his parents' house and start his own family. To get around, Pio follows his older brother Cosimo everywhere he goes. From him, he learns how to hustle and traverse his hometown's streets. Once upon a time, Pio sets out to prove to his brother that he is just as good as or better than him. When things go wrong, a chain of events occurs that will forever alter Pio's perspective of the world.
