The Colour of Darkness

All the color, complexity, and mystery of India's vast and raucous cultural legacy are revealed in a single action that eternally alters the course of two countries. In a brightly illuminated railway carriage against a backdrop of darkness, a proud Indian foreign student is attacked. Unbeknownst to his assailants, his high caste rank is irrelevant, and in one touching moment, he is saved by his counterpart, a 'untouchable', a member of a lower caste.
