The Dust of Time
A, an American filmmaker of Greek descent, is now working on a film on his and his parents' lives. It's a story set in Italy, Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada, and the United States of America. Eleni is the central character, who is claimed and asserts the unfathomability of love. Simultaneously, the film is a lengthy voyage across the broad history of the twentieth century and the events of the last fifty years that shaped it. The film's characters appear to be dreaming. Memory is muddled by time's dust. A seeks them out in the present and encounters them.
