The Legend of the Stardust Brothers
In1985, Macoto Tezka (son of legendary manga creator Osamu Tezuka) met musician and television personality Haruo Chicada, who had created the soundtrack for a film that never existed: The Legend of the Stardust Brothers. Macoto was 22 years old at the time, a cinema student with numerous short experimental films under his belt but yet to make his feature debut, and, of course, the TEZUKA name loomed large. Tezka subsequently transformed this "false soundtrack" into the true story of "The Stardust Brothers" with Chicada serving as producer.
