The Long Good Friday
From the late 1970 s, Cockney crime boss Harold Shand, a gangster seeking to be a legitimate property mogul, has big plans to find the American Mafia to bankroll his own transformation of a derelict part of London to the potential venue for the next Olympic Games. But his empire is targeted by a string of bombings on the weekend the Americans are in the city. Shand is convinced there is a traitor in his organization, and sets out to expel the rat in fashion that is typically ruthless.
