The Night We Never Met
Sam has a problem with his roommates: they are revolting and do not appear to share his values regarding responsibility, privacy, and basic hygiene. As a result of his dissatisfaction with his living arrangements, he agrees to share the occupancy of another flat: he gets two nights a week, while the owner (a sleazy frat-boy yuppie named Brian, who is about to marry) and Ellen (a would-be painter seeking escape from her boring marriage) each get their own nights in the flat. Things are going swimmingly until Sam and Brian switch nights without notifying Ellen, who blames the slob Brian for all the "good" things that happen around the apartment, while berating the responsible Sam for his hedonistic lifestyle.
