A Country Practice
A Country Practice was a popular Australian television show. James Davern of JNP Productions, who created the pilot episode and entered the network's 1979 writing contest, came in third place and won a commendation award for his work on one of the longest-running shows of its kind. 1,058 episodes aired between November 18, 1981 and November 22, 1993 on the Seven Network. ATN-7's Epping, Sydney, production facility built it. From April to November 1994, it aired on network ten for 30 episodes with a mostly fresh cast, however it was not as popular as the seven network's version. While the Channel Ten series was recorded on location in Emerald, Victoria, the Channel Seven series was shot on location in Pitt Town.
