Cosmos: Possible Worlds
National Geographic debuted an American science documentary television series on March 9, 2020. The series is a continuation of the 2014 television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which itself was a continuation of the 1980 PBS series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage hosted by Carl Sagan. The series is hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and is written, directed, and executive-produced by Ann Druyan and Brannon Braga, with Seth MacFarlane and Jason Clark also serving as executive producers. The series comprises of 13 episodes that were aired over a span of seven weeks. On September22,2020, Fox aired the first transmission of the series. Braga argues that "Possible Worlds refers to planets in the far, far future, but also... the future as a possible world."
