Jann
Back in Jann, Jann Arden plays a fictionalized, selfdeprecating version of himself: a singer songwriter of a"certain age" in acute refusal of this brutal reality her prior music career will be slowly (ok immediately ) fading away. But it's not only Jann's career that is on life care -- she is newly single (don't remind her), her husband may disown her, along with her mother may be showing early signs of memory loss. Jann's personal life is in shambles and she is convinced that the cure-all is to enlist a new manager to help rebrand her image. Filled up with plenty of LOL minutes, she embarks on a search to return to greatness and proceed viral, but alternatively gets uncontrollable from her' real' life's pressures. Jann reaches the crossroads between who she was who she wants to be. Can Jann stage a comeback, reclaim fame...and be present for the individuals who love her?
