Maggie and the Ferocious Beast
Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is a Canadian animated television series based on Michael Paraskevas' and his mother Betty's books. Maggie, a five-year-old character in the show, creates her own map of her imaginary world called Nowhere Land, which takes the characters nowhere. She believes they are her friends. Friends such as mice, cows, and rabbits are also featured in the show. "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast in Nowhere Land," an original song by an unknown artist, serves as the show's theme song. Nelvana produces Maggie and The Ferocious Beast, which is directed by Jamie Whitney and Stuart Shankly. The series premiered in 2000 and aired its final episode in 2003. Nelvana, which owned the distribution rights, distributed the show. The show was dubbed with British voice actors in the United Kingdom, replacing the original American soundtrack. The show is a Teletoon Original Production that debuted on August 26, 2000. Maggie and the Ferocious Beast aired on the American children's channel Nick Jr. from July 15, 2000 to October 30, 2010, and has since been removed from all US broadcasts.
