Passport to Freedom
Aracy de Carvalho is a young clerk at the Brazilian Consular office. For two years, she has been secretly releasing keys to Jews without the dreadful "J" stamp, which not just will not permit them to take a trip, yet will ruin them to the horrors of prisoner-of-war camp. When recently appointed diplomat, João Guimarães Rosa, arrives in Hamburg, both fall incredibly crazy. Aracy would later on be recognized by the Yad Vashem with the Righteous Amongst the Nations Award. João would be called the greatest Brazilian author of the twentieth century.
