Perfect Strangers
Perfect Strangers was an American sitcom that aired on ABC from March 25, 1986, to August 6, 1993. The sitcom, created by Dale McRaven, follows Larry Appleton, a middle-aged American, and Balki Bartokomous, a distant cousin from eastern Mediterranean Europe. It premiered on Tuesdays in the spring of 1986 for six episodes before moving to Wednesdays in prime time in the fall of 1986. It was held every Wednesday until March 1988, when it was shifted to Fridays. Although it ran on Saturdays for a brief period in1992, the show found its home as the anchor for ABC's original TGIF Friday-night schedule.
