Sykes
Sykes is actually a British sitcom which aired from 1972 to 1979 on BBC 1. Starring Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques, it was composed by Sykes, who'd previously starred together with Jacques at Sykes and A.. . And Sykes and a Big, Big Display. Fortythree of the 1970 s color stripes were remakes of scripts for its 1960s monochrome series, such as"Bus" based on'Sykes and a Following' from 1964 and the incident"Stranger" with guest star Peter Sellers based on'Sykes and a Stranger' out of 1961.
Sykes had precisely the same assumption as Sykes and A.. . Using Sykes, Jacques, Richard Wattis and Deryck Guyler reprising their equivalent roles. The series was brought to a conclusion by the death of Hattie Jacques of a coronary arrest about 6 October 1980.
