The Sopranos
The story of New Jersey-based italian american mobster Tony Soprano and the difficulties he faces as he tries to balance the conflicting requirements of the association and his home life he heads. Those difficulties are often highlighted with psychiatrist Jennifer Melfi during his professional relationship. The show features Mafia associates and Tony's relatives in story arcs and characters, most notably his cousin and his wife Carmela and protégé Christopher Moltisanti.
