The Upside Down Show
Shane Dundas and David Collins starred in the Logie Award-winning show The Upside Down Show, which aired on Noggin, Nick Jr. Australia, and ABC Australia. They portray two brothers who share a bizarre house with a wide range of odd rooms. A total of thirteen episodes produced by the renowned Sesame Workshop aired on Nick Jr. Australia and Noggin US on 16 October 2006, respectively. Sesame Workshop's logo can only be seen on Noggin in this episode. While Play With Me Sesame and Caillou were huge hits during the 2006-2007 season, The Upside Down Show was a huge flop at first viewings. When the sitcom premiered, it was compared to Ernie and Bert. Shane Dundas raised worries about the show returning for a third season in an interview with the New York Post on December 27th, 2006. A third season of The Upside Down Show was announced by the Umbilical Brothers on their website on June 1, 2007, despite the show's success. Creative Craft Daytime Emmy Award for Main Title Design and Parents' Choice Award Silver Honor for Television were both given to the show in 2007.
