In 1981, chalk mottos written in uppercase letters started appearing in public spaces in the Romanian city of Boto?ani. They demanded liberty, alluded to the democratic growths taking place in Romania's socialist sister nations or just required improvements in the food supply. Mugur C?linescu was behind them, that was still at institution at the time as well as whose situation is documented in the files of the Romanian secret cops. Theater supervisor Gianina C?rbunariu produced a docudrama play based on this material.
