Matador
Matador is a Danish television series established and produced between 1978 and 1982. It's set at the Danish town of Korsbæk between 1947 and 1929. It follows the lives of a selection of personalities from throughout the social spectrum, focusing specifically on the competition between the families of two vacationers: The banker Hans Christian Varnæs, a recognized local worthy, and social climber Mads Skjern, that arrives around as the series opens. The name Matador was removed from the localised edition of this Monopoly the series' tentative name that was British. In addition, in contemporary Danish a"matador" is often utilised to refer to a small business tycoon, at the series referring to this personality of Mads Skjern and also his craftiness as a freelancer writer.
Directed by famed Danish movie manufacturer Erik Balling, Matador was author Lise Nørgaard's Notion who wrote Most of the episodes along with Paul Hammerich, Jens Louis Petersen and Karen Smith. The series represents the peak of long-time maturation of Danish television drama by people ceremony station Danmarks Radio and is just one of the favorite and very most famous types of Danish tv.
