Jerry Lewis: The Man Behind the Clown
Jerry Lewis has entertained the public with his visual jokes, pantomime sketches, and characteristic slapstick humor from his early years, following in the footsteps of Chaplin, Keaton, and Laurel. Lewis, on the other hand, was much more than a clown. He was also a visionary filmmaker, whose insatiable curiosity led him to write, produce, stage, and direct many of the films in which he featured, culminating in such beloved classics as The Bellboy, The Ladies Man, The Errand Boy, and The Nutty Professor.
