Late Spring
Noriko is perfectly satisfied living at home with her widowed father, Shukichi, and doesn't have any plans to marry -- which is, until her aunt Masa convinces Shukichi that unless he chased his 27-year-old daughter soon, she'll probably remain alone for the rest of her lifetime. Shukichi is forced to fool his daughter and sacrifice his or her own happiness to get what he believes is right when Noriko interrupts Masa's match making.
