Romeo and Juliet - Stratford Festival of Canada

There has been a long-running feud between two families in Verona, Italy: the Montagues and the Capulets. Recently, members of the two families have been fighting in the streets. One night, Romeo, a Montague, breaks into a party being held by the Capulet family. He wants to meet up with a young woman called Rosaline, who he is in love with. She is called Rosaline. His thoughts of her fade away, however, when he sees Juliet, the daughter of the head of the Capulet family. Juliet and Romeo are both in love with her, but her father already has other plans for her.
