Angry Boys
Angry Boys is an Australian television mockumentary series written by and starring Chris Lilley. Continuing the mockumentary style of his past series, the series explores the issues faced by young men from the 21st century -- their own affects, their anxieties, their dreams and aspirations. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays multiple personalities: S.mouse, an American rapper. Jen, a devout mother. A champion surfer, blake Oakfield. Ruth"Gran" Sims, a guard in a juvenile detention facility. And her grand children, Nathan Sims and South Australian twins Daniel.
The series is really a Co Production involving the Australian Broadcasting Corporation along with US cable channel HBOalong using a pre-sale to BBC Three. Angry Boys premièred on 11 May 2011 in 9:00 pm on ABC1.
