Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations was an American travel and food show to the Travel Channel. It also airs on the Discovery Travel & Living station aroundtheworld. In it, host Anthony Bourdain visits over seas countries, cities worldwide, and places within the U.S., where hosts treat him to local culture and cuisine. The show premiered on the Travel Channel in 2005. The show's format and content is very similar to the 2001 -- 2002 Food Network show, A Cook's Tour of Bourdain. The Travel Channel announced that season 9 is going to soon be the last year of the show. Season 9 reasoned using its series finale incident and premiered on September 3, 2012.
The incident Anthony Bourdain at Beirut that aired between Seasons 2 and 3 has been nominated for an Emmy Award. In 2009 the series won the Emmy for"Outstanding Cinematography For Nonfiction Programming".
