Dharma & Greg
From September 24, 1997 until April 30, 2002, Dharma and Greg was an American comedy that ran on ABC. A couple who got married on their first date despite being polar opposites is played by Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson in the film. The series is co-produced by Chuck Lorre Productions, More-Medavoy Productions, and 4 to 6 Foot Productions in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Television for ABC. Dennis C. Brown composed and performed the show's theme tune. A lot of the humor in the show was inspired by the so-called "fish out of water" scenarios that occur when people from different cultures come together. The show was nominated for eight Golden Globes, six Emmy Awards, and six Satellite Awards. It was in 1999 that Elfman received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
