King Arthur's Disasters
King Arthur's Disasters is a British animated show that first aired on CITV, a now-defunct programming block on ITV1. The series was made by Paul Parkes and Will Ashurst. It shows how King Arthur and the wizard Merlin try to woo the beautiful but self-centered Princess Guinevere. Due to how popular the show was, it was picked up for a second season, which began airing on CITV on November 6, 2005. Executive Producer Genevieve Dexter was in charge of both. King Arthur's Disasters had the most viewers of any new CITV show in Spring 2005. It always had more than 20% of kids watching it, and it always beat CBBC when it was on at the same time. In2006, the show was nominated for a children's BAFTA for Best Animation, but it lost to The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers.
