The Dramatic spider man is an American animated television show based on the character published by Marvel Comics and developed by Victor Cook along with Greg Weisman for television. With a balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a senior high school setting, the show is based primarily upon the first stories by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, in terms of style and tone. However, it also tends to utilize material from all eras of the comic run and origins like the film series and the Ultimate spiderman comic book.
The Dramatic spider man premiered on March 8, 2008 throughout the children's WB programming block of their CW, and received critical acclaim. Its season introduced Disney XD at the United States, on Marvel's sister system and ended its conduct November 18, 2009 receiving favorable critical focus. The show was cancelled before production can begin although a season has been planned.
